"Solar Party" 21 August 2017:

An event held at the Wild Roses Table to view a partial solar eclipse on 21 August 2017. With special thanks to Shawn Coulter for the loan of two solar telescopes for this gathering. The solar eclipse was dubbed "The Great American Eclipse" by the media because it was a total solar eclipse visible within a band across the entire contiguous United States. In PMC the coverage of the sun during the eclipse was about 65% as shown in this animation.....
