SNOWFLAKE PATHWAYS
A HISTORY IN PICTURES
2004: Sage Pathway
The Sage Pathway was a branch trail coming from the wetlands route. It provided more direct access to one of our favorite spots, the Enchanted Forest.
(20) ^ ^ ^ ^ It crosses an area that used to be thickly populated by sagebrush bushes. This area was later completely cleared of sagebrush by a wildfire-clearing crew in 2005.
(21) ^ ^ ^ ^ We call the large tree at the end of this pathway, the Bear Tree. In 2003, we discovered a resting place clearly dug out by a bear where it had spent the night.
(22) ^ ^ ^ ^ In 2004, this was a regularly-used route. By 2005, better access was provided by another pathway soon to be built.
